Zuzzle Numbers Game 15 years

Since 2012 · anniversary edition

Two numbers that make ten,
however far apart.

The puzzle that shipped as Zuzzle in 2012, rebuilt. Same rule — clear a pair that is equal or sums to ten, reaching across everything you have already cleared. Everything around that rule is new.

Runs offline · no account · nothing leaves your device

A Classic run: score 181, a six-link chain paying ×2.50, and a board of coloured digits with the cleared cells left as holes.
The daily screen: today’s shared board and seed, a five-day streak, and a year of results as a grid.

What is new

The old score had no stakes

Time was worth nothing. Expansions were worth nothing. The headline mode could not be lost. Four changes fix that, and they feed each other.

4 ×2.00

Moment to moment

The chain

Clear again before the ring drains and the multiplier climbs. A manual expansion breaks it — that is the real cost, not a flat penalty.

The skill that never scored

Reach

A pair that reaches across cleared holes is the hard read. Now it pays more the further it reaches.

Per run

Three stars

Clear the board, and clear it clean. Three stars is a solve that took no hints and no manual expansions; each kind of aid you lean on costs one. A run is no longer just won or lost.

Per day

One shared board

Everyone gets the same seed. Keep the streak, share a spoiler-free grid of the order you cleared it.

Everywhere, offline

One codebase for the web, Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux. The layout follows the window — the board takes the height it is given, and past a tablet’s width the run panel moves beside it. The browser build installs as an app and runs with no connection. Scores stay on your device.
